GHD - just love it!

I have had many hair straightener in the past - all supermarket brought before I invested in the GHD. Lets just say there is absolutely no comparison between the GHD and the store brought ones – it’s the best straightener I have ever used and will never look back. With its quick heat up and great results I can’t believe I waited so long. Now I take it everywhere with me including my overseas trips!

I am a hairdresser and have used this product it worked well, although found it to be nothing special I have used other professional straighter brands and have achieved the same results, in some cases better. Summing up it does the job but think it's over rated .


Best Straightener

I have naturally wavy hair and went through a frustrating time of going through cheap/er straighteners that either weren't powerful enough or damaged my hair significantly. My purchase of a GHD has been the best investment in a hair styling tool I have ever made. Not only can you straighten hair, you can curl it, with practice, so you essentially have two styling tools in one.

I have had my GHD for two years and it is still functioning optimally. It is very reliable.

It takes about 10 seconds to reach its maximum temperature, which is a great time-saver. However, GHD straighteners do not have temperature selection. This was not a problem for me as I think it the temperature is more than enough.

I still get split and broken ends when I use my GHD, but not as much as I would have gotten from the cheap/er straighteners of the past.

I bought my 2nd GHD straightener and the latest version is excellent. I have very thick hair and it takes me no time whatsoever to either straighten, curl or texturise my hair, where with traditional hairdryers etc it could take hours. Would totally recommend this product.

Im so happy with my straightner,could not go with out it,
My hair is so soft & more manageable,would not go without it now.My hair was always frizzie & hard to manage also it would take me so long to blow dry & straighten it then within two to three hours it would look like i had not straighten it,now im done in half the amount of time.Its good money spent on good product.I througly recommend this product.THANKYOU GHD GREAT PROUDUCT THROUGLY RECOMMENDED..

I had an old muster which was quite bulky and decided to get a GHD after trying out my SIL's. It's easy to hold and with my short hair I can get some very nice flicks. I love it! Worth every penny.

Like some of the other people I am a little skeptical about purchasing items on sites I have never heard of. HairCare.com.au provided the GHD in less than 24 hours..I am not joking!

I've been using hair straighteners for the last ten years and GHDs are far and above the market leader - they smooth and straighten hair quickly and easily. This is certainly not a cheap item but it's absolutely worth it for years of beautiful hair!!

I'm not really a great hair stylist and had given up on having straight hair through blow-drying and a cheapish hair straightener. A friend did my hair with a ghd on a weekend away and I couldn't believe how quick & easy it was. I decided to buy one and for the first time ever I can do my own hair, nice & straight, really easily.

I definitely give the ghd the thumbs up for ease of use. It also heats in seconds and has auto cut off after a time of non-use. Even my 12 yr old daughter loves it. No regrets with my purchase.

What else can I say about this product but it is the best money you'll ever spend on your hair. It is so easy to use and can turn any bad hair day into a good hair day.

I've been using a GHD for over 6 years now, I have thick hair and the GHD does a great job at giving my hair a sleek look. I've tried other cheaper brands in the past but they are a waste of money. Spend the extra dollars on a GHD, totally worth it.

GHD Straighteners are one of the most expensive on the market but you can't afford not to purchase one. I looked at many before making the financial sacrifice and have not looked back. I have thick, wavy hair and my GHD has become my new best friend (sad but true). I used to have a cheap straightener that would take more than an hour to get my hair only half as straight as what the GHD does in 20mins. One very happy customer :)

This is the most smoothest and gentle hair straightener I have used. Does not snag on hair when you straighten and curl it and it seems to take less time too. Heats up real quick and stays that way. Great hair straightener.

I love my new Ghd hairstraightner, I have previously had two cheaper versions and after approximately 18mths-2yrs I have found their quality to be of poor standard. I believe if you pay a little more then it is definately a worthy investment.
The postage time on this item was amazingly fast considering I live in a remote area of WA....I am a happy & satisfied customer.

This is a genuine GHD product. I am loving my new straightener. I've used many in my time, but the GHD is fantastic. It takes me half the time to straighten my hair. It is very very hot though and is a little harsh on the hair.

This is by far the straightener I have come across. I have been using the GHD for a couple years now and it still works as good as new. The plates are really smooth so it ensures that there is no pulling of the hair at all. The video attached demonstrates how effective the GHD is.

I came across the GHD a few years ago through my hairdresser. It was one of the first ceramic plated hair straighteners to hit the professional hair care industry. Amazingly til this day it is still one of the best ceramic plated straighteners, if not the best. It has all the attributes to make it a great straightener: Ceramic, light weight, easy to use, does not pull on hair, gives shine, hair does not frizz, heats up quickly...

On the down side it is very expensive. But then again you get what you pay for.


Keeps your hair straight all day long

This straightener is fantastic. I have yet to meet a person who has tried the GHD and did not like it. They are fantastic because they give shine to your hair and it does not matter how thick your hair is. It can tackle the most coarse hair (like mine) and still not pull on your hair.

If price is not an issue then i would certainly recommend this straightener.
