Lost my ghd mini only a week after purchasing one.
Immediately bought another one. No problems at all. Would be better if plates went all the way to the end but no real problem.

I brought my mini straightner a couple of months ago.
I've got quite thin, short hair and so it's far more easier for me to use, but thicker hair probably needs a heavier straightner.
It's great for travel also.
