I purchased this as a gift for myself and will never use anything other than a ghd again!
It heats up so quickly, smoothly runs along my hair, and i get the best results in half the time i used to spend straightning my hair.

I have tried other straighteners in the past thinking surely there wouldn't be that much difference between a cheap one and an expensive one, how wrong I was! I went to a new hairdresser and they used a GHD on me and I can't even begin to explain how beautiful and silky soft my hair was. I have very thick, coarse curly hair that is almost impossible to get straight. Well, the GHD was able to get my hair dead straight. I have since purchased my own and was lucky enough to get the 'Rare' model. I love how sleek it looks with it's gold flecked plates and the addition of a hard case is great.

GHD has to be the best hair straightener I have had. It is quick and effortless and no need to go over time and time again. Keeps it looking silky smooth or twist it around to give you bouncing curls. Very versatile. I love it.....

I slaved away with the good ol' ceramics, thinking they were the shiz. Well they were...compared to what my cousin used to use back in her day - the iron! (thats garn waaay back!) Needless to say those days are gone. I am happy, stoked, ecstatic to join the ranks of ghd owners.

I have since cut my hair (mid neck), but it is still thick & curly (aka frizzy, without product) until the ghds tame it.

Before: 60+ mins & lots of clip/bands/ties.
Now: 45 mins freestyle, no clips/bands/ties, and it remains wonderously straight for a good 5 days (probably longer if you can stand not washing it for that long...and weather permits!).

So dont delay, buy a pair! Especially from MyHairCare - service was supreme & delivery superfast (ordered Weds night, delivered Fri morn!). Im getting the 'mini' pair next, woohoo!
