My old Silver Bullet President died on me after 3-4 years, I was in the market for a new hair straightener and was convinced into buying a GHD, I was total disappointed with the GHD, so gave the GHD to my daughter and bought another Silver Bullet, I find the Silver Bullet President gives me a much more smooth/silky finish.

i love this product.. made my hair hell cool... i recommend it for every girl who wants to have extremely shiny hair.. it gives hair a silky smooth feel and saves time as it has excellent temperature control. cheers!!


Silver Bullet straightener

Have used many straighteners, but have found this one to be of better quality, easy to use, heats up quickly and stays hot. Takes about 15 minutes less to straighten my hair compared to the other straightener. Would buy again.

This product is great!! Very easy to use, I really like having the ability to control the temperature and the speed at which the plates heat. I have been using this product for about a month and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quality straightener without the huge price tag.

great straightener, I was used to an old remington, and when I got this it was amazing. I have previously used GHD's and I find the silver bullet to be better then them. my hair goes silky straight and stays straight all day, reccomended to all.


Disappointing-very disappointing

I purchased this from a local shop 5 days ago and feel really disappointed with my purchase. I used a borrowed ghd for months before this one. I have coarse hair and the ghd always slipped through it and gave it a shiny, sleek, well groomed look. After much encouragement from the shop owner to get the silver bullet because it's meant to have all these great features for thick hair, I feel so ripped off. After following all instruction, the unit gripped my hair, & my hair looked straight but boofy, dry, just awful. Like a bad blow dry. I waited a few days, washed hair, tried one side with borrowed ghd, the other with silver bullet, and it confirmed my fear- yes, indeed the silver bullet was the problem, not other variables. I'm now stuck with a unit that I have no use for and am $200 worse off for the experience.


Worth the money

I certainly would recommend this for anyone with coarse hair. My hair is very thick and long, but once I use this straightener I look at totally different person!

I love the smooth, silky finish this straightener gives!

Even thought I have only recently purchased this hair straightener (one month ago) it has been fantastic.

My Lightning Plus Titanium stopped working a while ago and I needed a replacement. I was recommended this hair straightener as it is the best titanium hair straightener to date. There are many advantages to this. Instant heat up, smooth plates, no pulling, beautiful shiny straight hair in one glide.

I would recommend this over the Lightning Plus Titanium as its design is much better. Being less less bulky, it is easier to create flicks and curls.
