GHD GOLD WAVE

This is the ideal hairstyle to wear for an elevated everyday hairstyle while also being ideal for parties and special events. Either way, you will turn a few heads.

To create the GHD Gold Wave hairstyle, you will need a few GHD stlying essentials:

• GHD Smooth & Straight Spray
• GHD Ceramic Brush (Size 3)
• GHD Gold Styler
• GHD Curl Hold Spray
• GHD Oval Dressing Brush

Step 1

Prep your hair by using the GHD Straight and Smooth Spray. Spritz it onto your hair to prep your strands.

Step 2

Use the GHD Air Hairdryer and point the nozzle downwards. This will enable you to achieve a smooth and shiny finish to your strands.

Step 3

Divide each section of your hair. This will enable you to work on one section at a time.

Step 4

When sectioning your hair, use the sectioning clip. Secure the upper half of your hair.

Step 5

Working on the bottom half of your hair (one that isn’t clipped), style your hair using the GHD Gold Styler. Start from the root and work all the way towards the ends using a slow but gradual motion.

Step 6

Repeat the entire process working on one section of the hair at a time.

Step 7

When you are done styling, mist the GHD Curl Hold Spray onto your strands. Do this on the front section of the hair.

Step 8

Take the GHD Gold Styler again, place it at the root with the tip pointing towards the floor.

Step 9

Rotate the styler in a 360-degree motion and keep pushing down as you go. Do this until you reach the end of the section of your hair.

Step 10

Do this on the other side of your hair. Let both sections of hair cool.

Step 11

Once cooled, use the GHD Oval Dressing Brush to help expand the wave. This will make the curls look less tight and more natural.

• Hair Grips
• Hair Weft Extensions (optional)
• GHD Final Fix Hairspray
• GHD Final Shine Spray
• GHD Tail Comb

Step 1

Prep your hair by applying the GHD Straight & Smooth Spray onto your hair.

Step 2

Take the GHD Brush and GHD Air Hairdryer. Blow dry your hair with the nozzle pointing towards the floor. Start from the root all the way to the ends.

Step 3

Use a GHD Tail Comb to create a center part.

Step 4

Once your hair is parted at the center, brush each side and secure with hair ties on each side. Secure your ponytail as high as possible.

Step 5

If you are going to use weft extensions, use an elastic as a base so you can bind the wefts. This will serve as base for the grip.

Step 6

Do this on each side of the hair.

Step 7

Use the GHD Gold Styler on the wefts. Start from the root and glide slowly to the ends. This will make it super sleek and shiny. Wrap the weft onto your hair and make sure to secure it with an elastic after every fourth wrap. Do on both side of your hair. Once you reach the base, wrap it again to secure everything in place.

To finish, mist with the GHD Final Fix Hairspray. Run the GHD Gold Styler once again for a high gloss finish.
