Description

12Reasons The Absolute Texture Powder Black is a lightweight spray powder that boosts instant volume at the roots. Designed for darker hair colours, it helps disguise visible scalp while adding grip and lift.

The fine black powder mists on cleanly with a precise nozzle, so there’s no cloud of dust or sticky feeling. Hair feels weightless yet fuller, with a soft matte finish that’s easy to restyle through the day. Ideal for flat, limp or second-day hair when you want extra body and texture in seconds. Use it before styling for added hold, or on dry hair whenever it needs a quick refresh. 100% vegan, cruelty free and created in Australia, it’s a simple way to add bold volume without stiffness or flakes.

Directions

How To Use 12Reasons The Absolute Texture Powder Black

Shake well before use.

Ingredients

12Reasons The Absolute Texture Powder Black Ingredients

Silica, VP/VA Copolymer, Aqua (Water), Alcohol Denat., Isobutane, Propane, CI 77266 (Black 2).

Silica Thickeners and stabilisers

Absorbent and texturising agent

Silica helps control oil, improve texture and provide slip in haircare formulas.

May suit
Those using styling or dry-finish products that benefit from a lightweight, matte feel.

Worth knowing
It is a common mineral ingredient used to enhance spreadability and stabilise product textures. It appears in a wide range of hair and styling products for its versatility.
VP/VA Copolymer Thickeners and stabilisers

Film-forming styling polymer

A film-forming polymer that helps provide hold, texture and style retention.

May suit
People looking for longer-lasting hold or improved definition in styling products.

Worth knowing
It is widely used in gels, mousses and sprays because it creates flexible, brushable hold. It can also help reduce frizz by forming a lightweight coating on the hair.
Aqua Solvents

Solvent

The water base that carries and dissolves the other ingredients in most products.

May suit
All hair and skin types.

Worth knowing
Almost always the first ingredient listed in water-based products.
Alcohol Denat. Solvents

Solvent

A fast-evaporating solvent that helps dissolve ingredients and improve product dry time.

May suit
People who use styling products that benefit from quick drying or a lightweight feel.

Worth knowing
Its quick evaporation can help reduce residue and support a clean finish in styling formulas. Some may notice it can feel slightly drying in leave-in products depending on hair type.
Isobutane Solvents

Propellant

Isobutane is a gas used to propel product out of aerosol haircare packaging.

May suit
Useful for those using spray or mousse formats that rely on aerosol delivery.

Worth knowing
It helps create a fine, even spray and evaporates quickly after application. It does not remain on the hair in meaningful amounts.
Propane Solvents

Propellant / solvent

Propane is used as a propellant to help dispense products from aerosol packaging.

May suit
Useful for those using aerosol haircare products such as sprays or foams.

Worth knowing
It evaporates quickly after application and does not remain on the hair or scalp. Its use is standard in many aerosol formats for consistent spray performance.
Carbon Black Colourants

Colour pigment

Provides deep black colour to haircare and styling products.

May suit
Those using tinted styling products or colour-depositing formulas.

Worth knowing
Carbon Black is a stable pigment used in many cosmetic applications for strong, consistent black colour. It is typically present in very small amounts when included in hair products.
