Description

Alfaparf Semi Di Lino Style & Care Defining Wax is a creamy styling wax that shapes hair with flexible hold.

It defines waves, adds separation, and smooths frizz without leaving hair stiff or greasy. The soft, workable texture glides through strands, giving a natural, satin finish that looks polished but never heavy.

Lightly scented, it leaves hair smelling clean and fresh while still feeling like your own hair. Ideal for short cuts, textured bobs, fringes, and finishing curls.

Use it on dry hair whenever you want extra control or definition. Hair feels smoother to the touch, easier to style, and stays put while still moving naturally throughout the day.

How To Use Alfaparf Semi Di Lino Style & Care Defining Wax

Warm a small amount between your fingers or palms.
Apply to dry hair, starting with the mid-lengths and ends.
Twist, scrunch, or smooth to define your chosen style.
Add a little more where extra hold or separation is needed.
Restyle during the day by reworking with your fingers.

All hair and skin types.

Worth knowing
Almost always the first ingredient listed in water-based products.
Cera Alba (Beeswax) Thickeners and stabilisers

Thickener and styling aide

A natural wax used to thicken formulas and provide light hold and conditioning.

May suit
People looking for products that add gentle control, smoothness or texture.

Worth knowing
Beeswax can help lock in moisture and give hair a soft, pliable finish. It is commonly used in balms, pomades and creams for shape and definition.
VP/VA Copolymer Thickeners and stabilisers

Film-forming styling polymer

A film-forming polymer that helps provide hold, texture and style retention.

May suit
People looking for longer-lasting hold or improved definition in styling products.

Worth knowing
It is widely used in gels, mousses and sprays because it creates flexible, brushable hold. It can also help reduce frizz by forming a lightweight coating on the hair.
PVP Thickeners and stabilisers

Film-forming polymer

PVP is a film-forming ingredient that helps provide hold and structure in styling products.

May suit
Anyone looking for longer-lasting hold, enhanced definition or improved style memory.

Worth knowing
It is widely used in gels, mousses and sprays because it creates a flexible film on the hair shaft. Its performance can vary with humidity, so it is often blended with other polymers for stability.

Helps hold moisture and carry other ingredients through the formula.

May suit
Most hair types as part of a moisturising formula.
