Permanent Formula
Mixing ratio - 1:1.5.
Processing time - 30 to 45 minutes.

Semi/Demi & Toners Formula
Mixing ratio - 1:2.
Processing time - visual or up to 30 minutes.

Intensifiers Formula
Designed to intensify the tone of your selected shade (not recommended to use on their own).
No extra peroxide is required.
Do not exceed 30ml per 100ml of tint.

Meches - Lift & Deposit Formula
Recommended to use on natural levels 2-6.
Apply to dry hair only.
Mixing ratio - 1:1.5.
Processing time - 15 minutes with heat or 30 minutes without heat.

I've often wondered what the difference is between the well-known professional colour brands and these cheaper ones. Well it turns out there is none. In fact, I'm getting better results with this product. I used to use K-Pak Vero which was around $20 for 74 ml (recommended ratio of 1:1). This product is a hundred mil for $7.50 at a ratio of 1:5. In real terms that's one fifth the price.

I love Hi Lift as a brand, they consistently make great hair care products. The formula itself is lovely and very gentle. Just note for others: if you're starting from a natural level 5, it will lift with copper undertones. Still very happy with the quality!

Really nice light brown. No green ash or orangey highlights. Covers greys 100%. A beautiful brown, not “old lady brown “! I leave it on for about 40 minutes. No horrible smell. Gentle on my scalp.
