Description

Lola Meu Cacho Curly Hair Jelly Gel shapes curls with light definition while keeping them soft and touchable. This jelly-style gel glides easily through damp hair, giving curls a gentle hold that enhances their natural pattern.

Its smooth, slightly slippery texture helps curls clump together without feeling crunchy or heavy. As it dries, hair feels bouncy and hydrated, making styling simple even on busy mornings. Ideal for wavy to curly hair, it works well for refreshing curls between washes or defining them straight out of the shower. The fresh, subtle scent adds a clean finish without overpowering the senses.

Ingredients

Lola Meu Cacho Curly Hair Jelly Gel Ingredients

Aqua, PVP, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Polyquaternium-10, Carbomer, Aminomethyl Propanol, Parfum, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

Aqua Solvents

Solvent

The water base that carries and dissolves the other ingredients in most products.

May suit
All hair and skin types.

Worth knowing
Almost always the first ingredient listed in water-based products.
PVP Thickeners and stabilisers

Film-forming polymer

PVP is a film-forming ingredient that helps provide hold and structure in styling products.

May suit
Anyone looking for longer-lasting hold, enhanced definition or improved style memory.

Worth knowing
It is widely used in gels, mousses and sprays because it creates a flexible film on the hair shaft. Its performance can vary with humidity, so it is often blended with other polymers for stability.
Glycerin Humectants

Humectant

Attracts and holds water to help hair feel hydrated and soft.

May suit
Dry or dehydrated hair, and many curl and moisture routines.

Worth knowing
A very common, well-tolerated humectant used across countless products.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract Botanical extracts

Soothing botanical extract

Aloe vera extract helps hydrate and soothe the hair and scalp.

May suit
Those looking for lightweight hydration or gentle scalp comfort.

Worth knowing
Aloe extracts are widely used for their moisturising and calming properties in both hair and skin products.
Polyquaternium-10 Conditioning agents

Conditioning agent

A conditioning polymer that smooths the hair surface and helps with detangling and feel.

May suit
Most hair types wanting smoother, easier-to-manage hair.

Worth knowing
Widely used in shampoos and conditioners for slip and softness.
Carbomer Thickeners and stabilisers

Thickener and stabiliser

Carbomer helps thicken and stabilise gels, creams and styling formulas.

May suit
Anyone who prefers smooth, consistent textures in styling or leave-in products.

Worth knowing
It helps formulas stay evenly mixed and glide easily through the hair or onto the scalp. It is widely used because it works in very small amounts and provides reliable texture.
Aminomethyl Propanol pH adjusters

pH adjuster

Helps adjust and stabilise the pH of haircare formulations.

May suit
Those interested in how product pH affects hair and scalp feel may find its presence relevant.

Worth knowing
It is commonly used at low levels to help formulas stay effective and consistent. It does not act on the hair directly but supports the overall product performance.
Parfum Fragrance ingredients

Fragrance

Gives the product its scent.

May suit
People who enjoy a scented product.

Worth knowing
Fragrance preference is personal. Some people prefer fragrance-free formulas by choice.
Phenoxyethanol Preservatives

Preservative

Helps keep the product stable and pleasant to use after opening.

May suit
All products that need protecting from spoilage.

Worth knowing
A very common, well-studied preservative used at low levels.
Ethylhexylglycerin Preservatives

Preservative booster

Helps support the preservation system and can provide mild skin-conditioning benefits.

May suit
Those interested in gentle preservation systems or sensitive scalps may find it relevant.

Worth knowing
It is often paired with other preservatives to improve their effectiveness while allowing for lower usage levels. It also has light moisturising and conditioning properties.
