"Best dry hair shampoo I have tried. Leaves no residue and had great results." - Paula

Why you’ll love it

Turn flat, oily roots into airy, just-washed hair in seconds.
Soaks up grease without leaving dull, powdery residue.
Adds soft lift and texture for easier, longer-lasting styling.
Fresh, clean scent that revives hair between wash days.

Description

NAK Dry Clean Dry Shampoo is a weightless spray that revives hair instantly.

This clever dry shampoo absorbs excess oil at the roots to refresh your style between washes. The fine, soft mist brushes out easily, leaving no heavy, dusty feel.

Hair feels clean, airy, and lightly textured, as if just blow-dried. It has a fresh, salon-style scent that lingers softly without overpowering.

Ideal for busy mornings, post-gym touch-ups, or extending a blow-dry by another day. It suits those with oily roots, limp mid-lengths, or fringe that falls flat quickly.

Spray, tousle, and go for hair that looks lifted, smoother, and more polished. Your scalp feels less greasy, while lengths gain subtle volume and grip for easier styling.

Directions

How To Use NAK Dry Clean Dry Shampoo

Shake can well before use.
Hold 20–30 cm from dry hair.
Lift sections and spray lightly at the roots.
Leave for 30 seconds, then massage scalp.
Brush through or tousle with fingers to blend.
Reapply on oily areas or fringe as needed.

Note: Please refer to bottle for full ingredients.

Alcohol Denat. Solvents

Solvent

A fast-evaporating solvent that helps dissolve ingredients and improve product dry time.

May suit
People who use styling products that benefit from quick drying or a lightweight feel.

Worth knowing
Its quick evaporation can help reduce residue and support a clean finish in styling formulas. Some may notice it can feel slightly drying in leave-in products depending on hair type.
Butane Solvents

Propellant

Butane is used as a propellant to dispense product from aerosol packaging.

May suit
People using aerosol haircare products such as sprays or foams.

Worth knowing
It evaporates quickly after application and does not remain on the hair or scalp. It is commonly blended with other propellants to achieve a consistent spray.
Isobutane Solvents

Propellant

Isobutane is a gas used to propel product out of aerosol haircare packaging.

May suit
Useful for those using spray or mousse formats that rely on aerosol delivery.

Worth knowing
It helps create a fine, even spray and evaporates quickly after application. It does not remain on the hair in meaningful amounts.
Propane Solvents

Propellant / solvent

Propane is used as a propellant to help dispense products from aerosol packaging.

May suit
Useful for those using aerosol haircare products such as sprays or foams.

Worth knowing
It evaporates quickly after application and does not remain on the hair or scalp. Its use is standard in many aerosol formats for consistent spray performance.
Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate Thickeners and stabilisers

Absorbent powder / texture enhancer

A modified starch that helps absorb excess oil and improve product texture.

May suit
People who prefer hair or scalp products with a lighter, less greasy feel.

Worth knowing
It is commonly used to enhance spreadability and reduce shine in formulations. In haircare, it can also help dry shampoos perform more effectively.
Silica Thickeners and stabilisers

Absorbent and texturising agent

Silica helps control oil, improve texture and provide slip in haircare formulas.

May suit
Those using styling or dry-finish products that benefit from a lightweight, matte feel.

Worth knowing
It is a common mineral ingredient used to enhance spreadability and stabilise product textures. It appears in a wide range of hair and styling products for its versatility.
Parfum Fragrance ingredients

Fragrance

Gives the product its scent.

May suit
People who enjoy a scented product.

Worth knowing
Fragrance preference is personal. Some people prefer fragrance-free formulas by choice.
VP/VA Copolymer Thickeners and stabilisers

Film-forming styling polymer

A film-forming polymer that helps provide hold, texture and style retention.

May suit
People looking for longer-lasting hold or improved definition in styling products.

Worth knowing
It is widely used in gels, mousses and sprays because it creates flexible, brushable hold. It can also help reduce frizz by forming a lightweight coating on the hair.
Limonene Fragrance ingredients

Fragrance component

A fragrance component that also occurs naturally in many citrus and plant oils.

Worth knowing
A fragrance component that must be listed separately on labels because a minority of people can be sensitive to it. Its presence is normal, required disclosure and is not a quality signal.
Linalool Fragrance ingredients

Fragrance component

A fragrance component found naturally in many flowers and spices.

Worth knowing
A fragrance component that must be listed separately on labels because a minority of people can be sensitive to it. Its presence is normal, required disclosure and is not a quality signal.

Absolutely love it!

30 May 2014

I have been using this product for years and absolutely love it! In that time I\ve had both blonde and dark brown hair, and even with dark brown hair it isn\t noticeable if you brush it out properly (only takes a minute or so).
I wash my hair every 2 days and this is fantastic for the off day, as my hair gets oily quickly.
I\ve used bottles and bottles of this and still love it. I highly recommend.

Better off using real shampoo!

27 May 2012

I thought I would try this dry shampoo as most of Naks products have been pretty good. I have brown hair and it was not a good match! It left white powder through my hair and felt sticky. Would be better suited to people with light coloured hair.

Prolongs the life of any blow dry!

19 May 2011

I love NAK Dry Klean Shampoo... Ive used many others; this one is definitely the best. I can always get at least another day out of my blow dry and I tend to use this every second day, between shampoos. I love the smell and a little bit goes a long way. I am using my third can and I will continue to purchase again.
