This fine mist coats each strand with a sheer layer of nourishing oils, helping to calm static and tame unruly hair without weighing it down. It leaves a soft, satin-like finish that feels silky to the touch, not greasy or sticky.

The gently scented formula adds a subtle, salon-clean fragrance that makes hair feel freshly styled. Ideal for dry, frizzy, or static-prone hair, it’s perfect for daily use, quick touch-ups, or smoothing your style before heading out.

Hair looks sleeker, feels softer, and is easier to manage, even in humid or dry weather.

Alcohol Denat. Solvents

Solvent

A fast-evaporating solvent that helps dissolve ingredients and improve product dry time.

May suit
People who use styling products that benefit from quick drying or a lightweight feel.

Worth knowing
Its quick evaporation can help reduce residue and support a clean finish in styling formulas. Some may notice it can feel slightly drying in leave-in products depending on hair type.
Hydrofluorocarbon 152a Solvents

Propellant

Used as a propellant to help dispense aerosol hair products in a fine, even spray.

May suit
Those using aerosol styling products like hairsprays or texture mists.

Worth knowing
It is a common propellant that evaporates quickly, leaving the intended formula on the hair without residue. Its role is purely functional and it does not provide styling or conditioning benefits on its own.
Isododecane Solvents

Lightweight solvent

Isododecane helps dissolve other ingredients and gives hair products a lightweight, non-greasy feel.

May suit
People who prefer lightweight styling or smoothing products that don’t weigh the hair down.

Worth knowing
It evaporates quickly, which can help products spread easily without residue. It is commonly used to enhance slip and smoothness in styling formulas.
Dimethicone Silicones

Slip and shine agent

Smooths the hair surface, adds slip and shine and helps reduce frizz.

May suit
Frizz-prone, coarse or dry hair wanting a smooth, glossy finish.

Worth knowing
Some people prefer silicone-free formulas, especially for certain curl routines. It is widely used and helpful in many smoothing products.
Propylene Glycol Dibenzoate Solvents

Solvent / texture enhancer

Helps dissolve other ingredients and improve product texture and spreadability.

May suit
Those looking for smooth-feeling formulas that apply evenly.

Worth knowing
It is often used to support formula stability and enhance the feel of styling and conditioning products.
Propanediol Humectants

Hydrating humectant

Helps attract and hold moisture in hair and supports a smooth, conditioned feel.

May suit
Those wanting lightweight hydration without heaviness.

Worth knowing
It is often used as a gentle alternative to glycol-based humectants and can also help improve product texture and absorption.
Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein PG-Propyl Silanetriol Conditioning agents

Strengthening conditioner

A protein-derived ingredient that helps condition and reinforce the hair fibre.

May suit
People looking to improve hair strength, smoothness or resistance to breakage.

Worth knowing
It forms a lightweight film on the hair to boost softness and resilience without heavy build-up. Often used in strengthening and smoothing formulas.
Benzyl Salicylate Fragrance ingredients

Fragrance component

Benzyl Salicylate is a fragrance ingredient used to add a sweet, floral aroma to haircare products.

May suit
Those who enjoy subtly floral-scented haircare or are monitoring specific fragrance allergens.

Worth knowing

Limonene Fragrance ingredients

Fragrance component

A fragrance component that also occurs naturally in many citrus and plant oils.

Worth knowing
A fragrance component that must be listed separately on labels because a minority of people can be sensitive to it. Its presence is normal, required disclosure and is not a quality signal.
Linalool Fragrance ingredients

Fragrance component

A fragrance component found naturally in many flowers and spices.

Worth knowing
A fragrance component that must be listed separately on labels because a minority of people can be sensitive to it. Its presence is normal, required disclosure and is not a quality signal.
