Why you’ll love it

Freeze the moment, not your hair – light hold that always moves.
Keeps hair soft, brushable, and free from crunchy stiffness.
Dry, weightless mist leaves a natural, non-greasy, satin finish.
Easy to layer for more control without build-up or dullness.

Benefits

Natural finish Lightweight

Description

Schwarzkopf Professional Session Label No.2 The Flexible Dry Light-Hold Hairspray keeps styles touchable with brushable control.

This ultra-fine, dry hairspray gives light, flexible hold that moves with your hair, instead of freezing it in place. The mist feels weightless and airy, settling without stickiness or crunch.

Hair keeps its natural shine and softness, so it still looks and feels like your own, just more polished. A modern, subtle scent lingers lightly, so it never feels overpowering.

Ideal for anyone who wants control without stiffness, from soft waves to undone up-dos. Use it for everyday styling, last-minute touch-ups, or backstage-style finishing when you need reliable hold that you can still run your fingers through.

Hair stays workable, smooth, and easy to restyle throughout the day.

Hold can about 20–30 cm from dry hair.
Spray evenly in light layers for flexible hold.
Focus on mid-lengths and ends for natural movement.
For extra control, layer gradually instead of spraying heavily.
Brush through or restyle any time without stiffness.

Alcohol Denat. Solvents

Solvent

A fast-evaporating solvent that helps dissolve ingredients and improve product dry time.

May suit
People who use styling products that benefit from quick drying or a lightweight feel.

Worth knowing
Its quick evaporation can help reduce residue and support a clean finish in styling formulas. Some may notice it can feel slightly drying in leave-in products depending on hair type.
Dimethyl Ether Solvents

Propellant / solvent

Dimethyl Ether is commonly used as a propellant and solvent in aerosol hair products.

May suit
Those using aerosol styling products such as hairsprays may encounter this ingredient.

Worth knowing
It helps deliver fine, even sprays and evaporates quickly after application. Its use relates to product format rather than hair type or concerns.
Aqua Solvents

Solvent

The water base that carries and dissolves the other ingredients in most products.

May suit
All hair and skin types.

Worth knowing
Almost always the first ingredient listed in water-based products.
VP/VA Copolymer Thickeners and stabilisers

Film-forming styling polymer

A film-forming polymer that helps provide hold, texture and style retention.

May suit
People looking for longer-lasting hold or improved definition in styling products.

Worth knowing
It is widely used in gels, mousses and sprays because it creates flexible, brushable hold. It can also help reduce frizz by forming a lightweight coating on the hair.
Octylacrylamide/Acrylates/Butylaminoethyl Methacrylate Copolymer Thickeners and stabilisers

Film-forming styling polymer

A film-forming polymer that provides hold, shape retention and humidity resistance in styling products.

May suit
People looking for longer-lasting style hold or frizz control.

Worth knowing
This polymer is commonly used in gels, sprays and creams to help hairstyles stay in place. It forms a light, flexible film that washes out with regular cleansing.
Acrylates Copolymer Thickeners and stabilisers

Film-forming polymer

Acrylates Copolymer helps form a lightweight film that supports hold, texture and product stability.

May suit
People looking for enhanced styling hold or frizz control.

Worth knowing
It is widely used in styling products to help shape and set the hair without feeling heavy. It also contributes to product consistency and spreadability.
Aminomethyl Propanol pH adjusters

pH adjuster

Helps adjust and stabilise the pH of haircare formulations.

May suit

May suit
People who enjoy a scented product.

Worth knowing
Fragrance preference is personal. Some people prefer fragrance-free formulas by choice.
