Dermalogica Smart Response Serum is the next-gen smart serum that delivers personalised skin care tailored to the skin's specific needs. With SmartResponse technology, this serum helps prevent skin damage by using four smart actives to hydrate, brighten, soothe, and address fine lines and wrinkles. The serum contains oligosaccharides from hydrolyzed beta-glucan, which respond to dehydration signals and help maintain optimal hydration levels in the skin.
Additionally, hydrolyzed wheat flour is rich in arabinoxylo-oligosaccharides and activates as needed to brighten and reduce the appearance of dark spots. Japanese cornelia cherry is an antioxidant-rich ingredient that helps protect the skin against free radicals, reducing the appearance of redness and inflammation. Lastly, the plant-based mannose-6-phosphate visibly smooths and provides a firming effect, responding to the first signs of visible skin ageing to improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles. With these ingredients, the serum works to keep the skin healthy-looking and rejuvenated over time.
The serum's benefits include firming, hydration, brightening, and soothing. The M6P glycan in the serum helps increase firmness by organising collagen fibres that are misaligned as a result of accelerated ageing. On the other hand, the hydrolyzed beta-glucan helps moisturise the skin and stimulates the production of hyaluronic acid when dehydration is detected. The arabinoxylo-oligosaccharides in the serum help even out the skin tone by slowing down the machinery that produces melanin when it gets overstimulated. Lastly, the cornelia cherry in the serum helps reduce skin inflammation and redness by decreasing the skin components that favour inflammation when cells are stressed. Overall, the Dermalogica Smart Response Serum provides a comprehensive solution to address the skin's changing needs, resulting in healthier-looking and rejuvenated skin.
