How To Use Joico Color Intensity - Semi-Permanent 118ml

Note: We recommend performing a strand test before using this colour for the first time, or when trying a different shade, as results can vary depending on your hair.
  • Perform a patch and strand test 48 hours before use.
  • Shampoo hair, then towel-dry until slightly damp.
  • Comb through to remove tangles and section the hair.
  • Apply colour generously from roots to ends, wearing gloves.
  • Work product through evenly to fully saturate each section.
  • Leave on for 20–30 minutes, or as advised by your stylist.
  • Rinse with cool water until it runs clear; do not shampoo.
  • Style as usual and avoid very hot water to help colour last.

I have just used Joico for the first time after a few years of using another brand - now ceased manufacture. I tried Manic Panic which did nothing, no colour at all so tried Joico. Wow, I am so impressed. It is even better than the Pulp Riot. The coverage is excellent and my hair has needed washing less often. The colour is perfect - I mix Indigo with Lilac - and is easy to apply.

Highly recommend. (I have grey hair and use a purple colour shampoo in between dying.)

I have grey hair, a lot of white mixed in there. I purchased the rose thinking it would give my hair a nice soft pink tone. I followed the directions, I did leave it on an extra 10 minutes, I rinsed it out - there was no actual trace of colour in my hair what so ever - very disappointed.
