Color Disruptor is formulated to disrupt the setting of colour molecules within the hair shaft, simplifying and enhancing the removal process. This easy-to-apply, non-oxidative formula is designed to ensure hair remains undamaged while effectively loosening even the most stubborn dye molecules. Ideal for both oxidative and direct dyes, Color Disruptor penetrates deeply, guaranteeing optimal results for your colour correction needs.

Directions

How To Use Malibu C Color Disruptor

Shampoo hair with Malibu C Un-Do-Goo pH > 9 Shampoo and rinse. Work Malibu C Color Disruptor into the hair using 1/2-inch to 1-inch sections.

Apply Malibu C CPR directly on top of Disruptor. Apply a processing cap and place under heat for 45 minutes.

Shampoo vigorously three times with Malibu C Un-Do-Goo Shampoo, manipulating the hair as you cleanse. *You pull the color out during the three shampoos.

Ingredients

Malibu C Color Disruptor Ingredients

Alcohol Denat., Water/Aqua/Eau, Propylene Glycol, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil, Carbomer, Tocoqheryl Acetate, Potassium Hydroxide

Alcohol Denat. Solvents

Solvent

A fast-evaporating solvent that helps dissolve ingredients and improve product dry time.

May suit
People who use styling products that benefit from quick drying or a lightweight feel.

Worth knowing
Its quick evaporation can help reduce residue and support a clean finish in styling formulas. Some may notice it can feel slightly drying in leave-in products depending on hair type.
Propylene Glycol Humectants

Humectant

Helps hold moisture and carry other ingredients through the formula.

May suit
Most hair types as part of a moisturising formula.

Worth knowing
A widely used humectant and carrier ingredient.
Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil Oils and butters

Nourishing oil

A plant-derived oil that helps smooth, soften and condition the hair.

May suit
Those looking to add softness, shine or protection to dry or coarse hair.

Worth knowing
It is rich in fatty acids that help reduce moisture loss and improve manageability. Often used in both leave-in and rinse-off formulas for added nourishment.
Carbomer Thickeners and stabilisers

Thickener and stabiliser

Carbomer helps thicken and stabilise gels, creams and styling formulas.

May suit
Anyone who prefers smooth, consistent textures in styling or leave-in products.

Worth knowing
It helps formulas stay evenly mixed and glide easily through the hair or onto the scalp. It is widely used because it works in very small amounts and provides reliable texture.
Potassium Hydroxide pH adjusters

pH adjuster

Helps control and stabilise the pH of haircare formulas.

May suit
Those interested in how a product’s pH is balanced for performance and comfort.

Worth knowing
Potassium Hydroxide is used in very small amounts to achieve the desired pH during formulation and is not present at high levels in finished products.
