Benefits

Description

ELEVEN Sea Salt Texture Spray is a lightweight styling mist that builds effortless, beachy texture.

This spray works by using sea salt and styling polymers to add grip, body, and natural-looking separation to your hair. A few mists create that salty, windswept feel, without stiffness or crunch.

The fine mist feels weightless and dries to a soft, matte finish that still allows movement. Hair feels touchable, slightly tousled, and smells freshly clean with a subtle, salon-style scent.

Ideal for fine to medium hair that needs extra volume, or any hair that looks too flat or slippery after washing. Use it on damp hair before air-drying or blow-drying, or on dry hair to revive second-day styles.

You’re left with lived-in, textured hair that looks styled but never overdone.

Directions

How To Use ELEVEN Sea Salt Texture Spray

Shake well before use.
Spray evenly onto damp hair, focusing on mid-lengths and ends.
Scrunch hair with hands to build texture and waves.
Air-dry for a relaxed look or blow-dry with a diffuser for extra volume.
Mist lightly onto dry hair whenever you want more grit and body.

Aqua Solvents

Solvent

The water base that carries and dissolves the other ingredients in most products.

May suit
All hair and skin types.

Worth knowing
Almost always the first ingredient listed in water-based products.
Sodium Chloride Thickeners and stabilisers

Viscosity adjuster

Sodium Chloride is used to adjust the thickness of shampoos and other cleansing formulas.

May suit
Those interested in how a product’s texture and lather are achieved.

Worth knowing
It is a simple mineral salt that helps create a familiar shampoo feel and can influence how a cleanser spreads through the hair.
VP/VA Copolymer Thickeners and stabilisers

Film-forming styling polymer

A film-forming polymer that helps provide hold, texture and style retention.

May suit
People looking for longer-lasting hold or improved definition in styling products.

Worth knowing
It is widely used in gels, mousses and sprays because it creates flexible, brushable hold. It can also help reduce frizz by forming a lightweight coating on the hair.
PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil Cleansers / surfactants

Solubiliser and emulsifier

Helps blend oils and fragrance into water-based formulas for even texture and performance.

May suit
Useful for those who prefer haircare products with clear, consistent textures or evenly dispersed fragrance and oils.

Worth knowing
It is widely used in shampoos, conditioners and styling products to keep formulations stable and smooth. It also offers mild surfactant properties that support product rinse-off.
PVP Thickeners and stabilisers

Film-forming polymer

PVP is a film-forming ingredient that helps provide hold and structure in styling products.

May suit
Anyone looking for longer-lasting hold, enhanced definition or improved style memory.

Worth knowing
It is widely used in gels, mousses and sprays because it creates a flexible film on the hair shaft. Its performance can vary with humidity, so it is often blended with other polymers for stability.
Glycerin Humectants

Humectant

Attracts and holds water to help hair feel hydrated and soft.

May suit
Dry or dehydrated hair, and many curl and moisture routines.

Worth knowing
A very common, well-tolerated humectant used across countless products.
Polysorbate 20 Thickeners and stabilisers

Solubiliser / emulsifier

Helps blend oil‑based ingredients into water‑based formulas for a smooth, even texture.

May suit
Those using products with essential oils or fragranced blends, as it helps disperse these evenly.

Worth knowing
It is widely used as a gentle solubiliser in both leave‑in and rinse‑off products. Its presence can improve product consistency and prevent ingredient separation.
Panthenol Conditioning agents

Conditioning agent

Helps condition, soften and add a smooth, healthy feel to the hair.

May suit
Most hair types, especially dry or dull hair.

Worth knowing
A versatile, well-tolerated conditioning ingredient.

Preservative

Helps keep the product stable and pleasant to use after opening.

May suit
All products that need protecting from spoilage.

Worth knowing
A very common, well-studied preservative used at low levels.
Benzyl Alcohol Preservatives

Preservative

Helps preserve formulations and can also act as a solvent or light fragrance component.

May suit
Those interested in understanding preservative systems or identifying potential fragrance allergens.

Worth knowing
Benzyl Alcohol is commonly used in professional haircare to support product stability and texture. It can also naturally occur in some essential oils.
Ethylhexylglycerin Preservatives

Preservative booster

Helps support the preservation system and can provide mild skin-conditioning benefits.

May suit
Those interested in gentle preservation systems or sensitive scalps may find it relevant.

Worth knowing
It is often paired with other preservatives to improve their effectiveness while allowing for lower usage levels. It also has light moisturising and conditioning properties.
Parfum Fragrance ingredients

May suit
People who enjoy a scented product.

Worth knowing
Fragrance preference is personal. Some people prefer fragrance-free formulas by choice.
Citric Acid pH adjusters
