The Muk Style Stick 230-IR Wide Plate Hair Straightener uses an innovative strip of strong infrared light embedded in the ceramic plate of the iron to gently heat the hair shaft from the inside out. With just one pass, it straightens even the thickest, coarsest hair while giving it a great shine, balancing moisture, and protecting it from heat damage.

The Muk 230-IR Wide Plate Hair Iron is the wide plate variant of the Muk style stick 230-IR. As opposed to the normal iron's 25mm plates, it contains 45mm plates. With a bigger plate, you can straighten more hair with each stroke, accelerating the process and achieving salon-quality results at home. This iron's far-infrared heating system also softly straightens your hair while shielding it from damage. Unlike regular irons that heat your hair directly, the muk-style stick employs infrared heat, which shields your hair from harm by locking in moisture and avoiding frizz. All hair types, including dry, damaged, and coloured hair, respond well to it as a result.

Having a wide-plate hair straightener has the extra benefit of enabling you to create greater curls while curling your hair. A bigger curl typically looks better.
